University Regulations on Doctoral Research
Title IV - Art. 22 (Enrollment in Years Following the First):
1. Following the evaluation of the activities carried out by the doctoral candidate, the Board of Professors shall decide on their admission to the subsequent year of the program and on the annual renewal of the scholarship.
2. By reasoned resolution, the Board of Professors may propose to the Rector the exclusion of the candidate from continuing the doctoral program. In the event of exclusion, any scholarship granted shall cease as of the beginning of the new year.
3. Admission to years following the first and to the final examination is also subject to verification of the payment of the required fees and contributions.
For admission to the subsequent year, doctoral candidates enrolled in the 1st and 2nd years must submit a report that follows the guidelines and template provided below. Once the report is submitted within the established deadline, progression to the next year is subject to approval by the Board of Professors.
Additionally, doctoral candidates holding specific types of scholarships (e.g., PNRR, PON, DM 351/2022) have further obligations as required by the relevant office (e.g., Doctoral Office, PNRR Office).
