Supplementary Teaching Activities
Scholarships and course attendance according to the University Regulations on Doctoral Research, Art. 20, para. 3 (Compatible Activities): "Pursuant to Article 12, paragraph 3, of the Ministerial Decree, doctoral candidates may carry out supplementary teaching activities and participate in exam and graduation committees up to a maximum of forty hours per academic year".
1. The doctoral candidate, in agreement with their Supervisor, submits a request for authorization to carry out supplementary teaching activities to the Board of Professors for approval;
2. The Board of Professors provides a decision regarding the request submitted by the doctoral candidate;
3. The Instructor responsible for the course, who often coincides with the Supervisor, communicates the doctoral candidate's request for supplementary teaching activities, approved by the Board of Professors, to the Chair of the Degree Program to which the course belongs;
4. The Degree Program Council provides a decision regarding the doctoral candidate's request;
5. Once the request has been approved by both the Doctoral Program Board of Professors and the Degree Program Council, it is finally ratified by the Department Council responsible for the course.
