Join the first edition of Pharma PhD-Day 2026
Pharma PhD-Day is a scientific meeting that brings together doctoral candidates from the PhD Program in Drug Research and Innovative Treatments at the University of Florence to share knowledge and present the results of their research.

The event features oral presentations in the form of flash talks and poster sessions, fostering dialogue among groups with complementary expertise across the entire pharmaceutical pipeline - from drug design and discovery to formulation and quality control, to clinical and regulatory evaluation.

Experimental models include cell cultures, organoids, ex vivo tissues, in vivo models (rodents, zebrafish), and clinical/observational studies oriented toward precision medicine.

Venue

Pharma PhD-Day – First Edition will take place on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Lecture Hall D4, University Campus of Sesto Fiorentino – Metropolitan City of Florence (Enrica Calabresi Building).

The lecture hall will be available for the entire day, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Organizing Committee

Several doctoral students enrolled in the PhD Program in Drug Research and Innovative Treatments have voluntarily contributed to organizing this first edition of Pharma PhD-Day.
The committee has overseen all aspects of the even,t to ensure it is accessible to the entire academic community, with the goal of providing PhD students an opportunity to present their research in English and promote scientific exchange among peers and related disciplines.
